i replicated a leaf multiple times to make the background, i used leaves to symbolize nature or an environment that bugs would interact in.

The importance of art response

I do not agree with the statement, i believe art programs, music and theater class are important classes for students to be able to take. To me high school should be a time and process where the students figure out what their passion is and what they want to make of themselves and do i their life. I believe the school systems of todays time are not sufficient in teaching vital criteria.  We as students go to school 5 days out of the week to classes that teach us things that we will likely never need to know in life when they could be teaching us valuable life lessons and important things such as taxes or other financial investments to look into. To me programs such as art, music, and theater are possibly more important to fund then core classes simply because they allow students to explore their creativity and experiment in their passion.

1st semester reflection

1) Quality of work- every project we have done this year has interested me in its own way. Me personally am very new to digital design and photo shop so every project we do is an interesting experience for me. Doing each project has allowed me to practice using different or become better at using similar tools and formats. 2)Effort- Looking for a convenient solution vs challenging myself varies based on the project and the idea i have for the project. For the most part its always a challenge simply because i am new. i typically explore lots of variations of my project and plan more before i start. i dont avoid ideas that i deem difficult, those are the more interesting ones anyway. Looking at my peers work is always impressive and they always seem to know their way around design apps more than myself so i see the difference in our work. letter to the past

 Dear past me     The future is terrible. It is nothing like what your going through now and i feel no advice i can give will truly help you. You will kind of have to just experience and learn like i did. I i were to give advice it would be to set goals and stick tot them. Having a plan makes your life more organized and easier to live by. To succeed in school you will need to stay on task and prioritize everything.  Do the work, and then do more to actually learn. My top designs would have to be the mutant me and the minimalism project. I feel these projects really let me explore more than other projects with edit tools and i started getting a better feel for digital design. To make the mutant me project it was a mix of a real life picture i took of myself and editing it by removing and adding layers to make a comical image of myself.
